I had this idea for a postnuclear dystopian future type of story wherein the survivors use green technology. This "no-gas" gaslamp uses a solar-powered battery to light the tiny bulb, whose light is then diffused by the water-and-bleach mixture in the jar.

 

There are a couple other unfinished concepts I had for this story, but for now they're tucked in the WIP folder.
